About Us
Our History
Learning about the inequalities in Bangladesh due to his Bengali background from a young age, Anish Chowdhury, a junior at the time in Palos Verdes High School, founded Blossom Funds with the goal of uplifting women in Bangladesh and providing them opportunities that they would not have received otherwise. Through Blossom Funds' extensive work and research in microfinance, they were selected to join the 2024 Youth ECOSOC Forum. Blossom Funds has had the honor of partnering and working with BRAC and other NGOs, including LearningPlanet and Forum of the Future, allowing them to uplift dozens of women in microfinance. The team plans to expand to help other countries outside of Bangladesh.
